NACCAP Admissions Officer of the Year
Goal
To provide recognition for an outstanding admissions/counseling officer within the NACCAP organization
Scope
To be done annually as decided on by the Board of Directors, awarded at the annual conference
Criteria
- Three or more years of service in admissions/counseling at a member school, college or university.
- Service to the admissions/counseling profession.
- Outstanding performance in admissions/counseling.
Considerations
- Any member of an admissions/counseling staff may be nominated and considered for the award, including counselors, guidance directors, admissions recruiters, visit coordinators, assistant and associate directors, and directors, deans and VP's of admission or enrollment management.
- Since the award will be presented at the annual conference, it is expected/hoped that the person selected will be in attendance at the annual conference (June 5-8, 2010, Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, California).
- Outstanding performance in admissions/counseling may include but is not limited to outstanding numerical success in achieving enrollment/placement/acceptance goals, etc.
- Current members of the NACCAP Board of Directors are not eligible for consideration.
