Exhibitor FAQs

Where do I check in?

Check in will be held in the Cooper Music Center lobby from 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on June 5. Cooper is located in the middle of campus, and both Public Safety and signage will direct you. Early arrivers can check in on June 4 in the PLNU Admissions Office, Draper Hall, from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. For more information, or with questions, please contact Shannon Hutchison at ShannonHutchison@pointloma.edu and/or at 619-849-2541. You may also check in on Monday, the 6th.

Where will the exhibitors be located?

The exhibitors will be located in the Fermanian Business Center. This building will have most of the conference sessions to help you interface with more conference participants.

What are the exhibit hours?

Exhibit hours will be during all breaks, and between sessions and during free time. You will be located in the Fermanian Business Center where most of the sessions will be held to give you maximum exposure to the conference participants. View Conference Schedule

When can I set up my booth?

Sunday, June 5th after 12 (noon) or Monday morning, June 6th. You will be located in the Fermanian Business Center where the majority of the conference sessions will be held. Please plan to set up your booth accordingly. Please see the conference schedule for more information.

Are there other opportunities for exhibitors to talk about their programs, products and services to conference attendees?

Yes, the schedule allows for the conference attendees to visit the exhibits. There is also dedicated time to do this (see conference schedule). We also offer a time for exhibitors to showcase their products. You will be able to sign up to present during our designated session times for the conference attendees (see conference schedule). The cost will be $500 to present in addition to your conference fee. Please indicate this on your registration form. Contact krista@naccap.org for more information. Space is limited.

What comes with my conference registration fee?

Housing (bed and linens), on campus meals (including banquet), booth space, parking and on campus activities are included in the registration fee. We encourage you to get involved with all aspects of the conference. Although on campus housing is included, there are off campus accommodations available. All costs for off campus accommodations come at the expense of the exhibitor.

Does carpet come in my booth?

Yes. But you will not be in an exhibit hall. Depending on weather, we may have some of the tables outside overlooking the ocean. You will be located in Fermanian Business Center. It is the building all the sessions will be in to provide you maximum exposure to the conference participants.

What will the booth come with?

You will be provided a table (6 foot or 8 foot table) and 2 chairs. (If you require something more, please contact krista@naccap.org)

Will I have power capabilities?

Yes. (please denote that on your registration form)

Is there a height limit on display? Width limit?

You will be located in a room in the Fermanian Business Center. There are high ceilings and if applicable, we may have a few tables outside on the balcony. The room does overlook the ocean and is a great location for access to conference participants. There is no limit for height or width.

Are there restrictions for hanging signs above our exhibit booth?

Due to the height of the room, you will not be able to hang signs above your exhibit booth.

Can an exhibitor get a list of names of those attending the conference?

If an Exhibitor wishes to purchase the contact name for the schools attending the conference the cost will be $500. Please contact Krista Meckling at krista@naccap.org for that list. The list will be made available after May 6, 2011.

When may I dismantle my booth?

The conference ends on Wednesday, June 8, but you may dismantle your booth whenever it is convenient for you. There will not be any break times on June 8th.

How do I register?

Online registration is available. Please indicate that you are an exhibitor. Register now!

How many decision makers will I see?

Although 35% of our conference attendees are Chief Enrollment Officers (CEO's), please note that many CEO's have the admissions staff talk to the vendors to get ideas for their institutions and will discuss it with their CEO's after the conference. Also, many Associate and Assistant Directors and High School Guidance Counselors have decision making capabilities in their offices.

I plan to stay off campus. What are the area accommodations?

Although your housing is provided on campus, if you choose to stay off campus for the conference there will not be a price difference (or discount) for staying off campus. Point Loma does have discounts with area hotels. Please see attached PDF for more information. Or book a room at the Days Inn

May I lead a session?

All sessions have been decided for the 2011 conference. Thank you for your interest.

What linens will be provided, if I decide to stay on campus?

As part of your conference fee, towels, a washcloth, sheets, a blanket, and a pillow will be provided.
